Read the requirements before you start your application as a social worker.
Who can apply
You should apply if you want to be registered to practise as a social worker and can provide evidence of identity, qualifications, professional standing, and fitness to practise.
- Diploma in Social Work with 5 O'levels including English.
- Bachelor of Science Honors Degree in Social Work with a minimum of 2 A-level passes.
- Post-grad in Social Work with either a degree in Sociology, Psychology, or Anthropology.
Before you start
- Create an account and complete your personal profile.
- Have your identity, qualification, and professional documents ready.
- Make sure referee and employer details are accurate.
- Set aside enough time to review your answers before submitting.
Documents you need
The application asks for the following documents where applicable:
- National ID or Passport.
- Birth Registration Certificate
- Academic certificates.
- Professional qualifications.
- Character references.
- Employer endorsement.
How long it takes
The form can be saved as a draft. Most applicants should allow 30 to 45 minutes if documents are ready before starting.
